The Levelmoor affix was founded many years ago, by my Dad and Mum (Raymond and Christine Salt). They have been dog owners all their life, but have favoured owning bitches where possible. They have owned Gordon Setters as their main breed, and have been members of the Gordon Setter association for a long time also. Dad used to show his Setters to a reasonably good standard, but he owes alot to Mum for helping with the feeding and walking of their dogs over the years. They bred one litter of Gordon Setters a good few years back. They still own a Gordon Setter at present-Skye, whom can be seen on a later page.
Dad and Mum encouraged me into dogs at an early age, and eventually pursuaded me to join their affix. This meant that when I had my first Flatcoat in 1998, I could add the Levelmoor affix to the end of it. They have been a very big influence in my life around dogs, and have supported and helped me along the way with my dogs, in every aspect of their lives. So my love of dogs is down to them, so I just hope that whatever success I gain for the Levelmoor name can be in some way aided by their assistance.
I just hope I can make them proud
of what I am achieving in the Levelmoor name!
