This is Melanie Salt.

She is not on the Levelmoor affix, as she has her own affix WETNOSES. She had her first Flatcoat in 2001-Sumaha Rainmaker at Wetnoses (Rafferty), and owned her second Male in 2004-Brihensol Mandria at Wetnoses (Trigger), whom both were reasonably successful in the show ring, both gaining their Stud book numbers during their show careers.

However she shares ownership with Dominic

in most of the current dogs.

She married Dominic on 9th October 2009, and had been residing with him at Kennel Levelmoor, for a couple of years previous to that.

She is a huge reason for the success in our kennel, as she pays a huge part in all aspects of looking after, showing and exercising, feeding and health care.

She currently works as a receptionist at PDSA vet hospital in Stoke on Trent.

She also judges, and in 2017 judged Flatcoated Retriever Dogs at the Flatcoated Retriever Society Open show. She is currently on the B List with the Flatcoated Retriever Society and the A3 list with the Flatcoat Retriever Club of Scotland, NEFRA, and the Southern Flatcoated Retriever Club.

Melanie is on the committee for Lichfield Canine Society, whom won the PAWSCAR award for best open show 2018 at a ceremony in March 2019.
